But first, Let's give a clear picture of what Direct entry(D.E) is all about. Direct Entry is a mode of entry into any Nigerian University directly to 200/300level. Usually, when you obtain UTME and sat for the exam, you can only gain admission into 100level, but if you obtain direct entry form and gain admission, you are to start from 200/300level. This depends on the entry qualification you used to gain admission.

Question 1: Which University Accept Direct Entry Application?

Answer : All Universities in Nigerian are meant to accept direct entry application from students and offer them admission. Though, I only know of one University that don't accept direct entry applicants which is UNIPORT. So apart from UNIPORT, all other Universities in Nigeria should accept direct entry weather they are Federal or State Universities or private.

Question 2:Is the Industrial Training (IT) a Prerequisite for DE Students.

Answer : I need not remind you that normally after the ND program there should be a 1year IT for proceeding but, this is only mandatory for those who'll further with HND.. Its not very compulsory for those putting in for direct entry.. But while waiting  you can proceed with it.  No Knowledge is a waste.

Question 3: What Are The Courses Offered In Direct Entry? 

Answer :Let me say, all the courses offer in UTME are also been offered In Direct entry. This means you can apply direct entry to any course. Simple.

Question 4: Which body Controls Direct Entry ..?

Answer: Now for the Direct Entry proceeding..  Direct Entry is controlled by Jamb itself.

Question 5:  How do I obtain the DE form..?

Answer : The direct entry form is obtainable online on the jamb website.. Usually it always available on the website few days/months after the Normal jamb examination as been concluded..

Is Direct Entry Form Still Available? You want to know when direct entry form will be out? 

Direct entry form, just like UTME form has its own time of release and closing date.

Direct entry form is always out around March to April every year and closes around July to August. So if you want to obtain direct entry into any Nigeria University, kindly look out for it as soon as UTME result is out every year. This is because JAMB will start selling direct entry form immediately UTME result is out.

Question 6:What Is University Direct Entry Admission Requirements?

Answer : To secure a direct entry admission into any Nigerian University, you must have O'level with five credit in relevant courses and you must have any of:

B.sc, HND, ND, NCE, A'Level, IJMB, JUPEB, Midwifery and any other acceptation additional qualifications.

Question 7: Who Can Apply For Direct Entry? 

Answer : Not everybody can apply for direct entry admission into University. Direct entry admission into any Nigerian University is for applicants who already had an additional certificate after their O'level. This means that, if you are a O'level holder without any additional certificate, you cannot apply.

Question 8: After Registration What's Next..?

Answer :After registering online and having done the normal jamb registration payment and choice of school.. Then you then need to proceed to any jamb office close by to submitting a copy of all your required credentials, including the (ND Notification of result, Jamb registration print out(coloured), and the O'level results)..

Question 9: How do I send my Transcript to my proposed school of choice..?

Answer :There are two ways of forwarding your transcript to your proposed school..
It's either the school sends it by mail to the p.o box of the other school.. Or the individual brings it by hand, but it must be SEALED, I repeat SEALED with stamp...

Question 10: When is the best time to send ones Transcript..?

Answer: Before registration and all other things being done, the individual must have been following up the Transcript (detailed result)  from the school one finished from... And make sure with proper supervision, the Transcript reaches your proposed school in due time for easier Processing  and early consideration.
Transcript processing takes time, so it's better to start very early..
Normally transcript ought to have reached the school b4  postutme or screening.
But one as to properly find out if your proposed school receives Transcript by hand. If not do otherwise.

Question 11: What the difference between "Transcript" and "Statement of Result".

Answer: Your Transcript is your overall detailed results, Which shows your grading from beginning of the program to the end of program  ..

This is totally different from "statement of Result "
Statement of Result is just a single paper which contains just your final graduating grade..  E.g.. Distinction, or Upper credit..
But Transcript contains details of all courses done in the Tertiary Institution (polytechnic).. Transcript is always very secretive..  That's why most times its sealed (if by hand)  or mailed..  Via P. O. BOX

Question 12: Where do I go to start the processing of my Transcript..?

Answer : Administration office of the school you finished from..  Or ask someone who as done it before.

Answer: Wait for the Admission screening date, time and venue..
And then patiently wait also patiently for the admission list.. 
And then lastly wait for RESUMPTIONS DATE.
